The Oblate Associates of Mary Immaculate are a group of lay people whose objective is to see suffering Christ in the poorest and neediest.
A few days ago they went to downtown Tijuana to distribute food, water and bread to the homeless. They also went to a shelter where there were families and children, where they took food.
They plan to go on Epiphany Sunday (the day of the Three Kings) to deliver toys and more support.
The mission of the Oblate Associates is not only limited to our community, but the goal is to take that hope everywhere, to those places where no one else wants to go.
We ask for your prayers that this group may follow the example of St. Eugene de Mazenod, evangelizing all those in need.
