From June 13th to 15th, our youth ministry will host another “Search” retreat a powerful weekend where young people have the opportunity to encounter God in a deep and personal way. But long before the first talk is given or the first prayer is said, something beautiful is already happening.
For the past several weeks, the retreat team made up entirely of young and adults volunteers has been working with passion and purpose. They’ve been fundraising, gathering resources, planning meals, and organizing every detail needed to welcome the new participants. But more than anything, they’ve been preparing their hearts.
Each week, they meet not for themselves, but for people they haven’t even met yet. They show up with love and faith, believing that God will use their effort to transform lives. Their work is guided by prayer, fueled by community, and grounded in a deep desire to serve.
It’s a reminder that ministry begins long before the retreat starts. It begins in quiet sacrifice, humble service, and trust in what God can do through willing hearts.
